Key Responsibilities
- Operating within the policies, procedures, and practices of Core Health Partners, LLC, this position is responsible for the needs of referred patients, following treatment plans, and providing quality physical and aquatic therapy services. This position will be based in the The lakes home care, a world class tennis and sport training facility. Although this position has an emphasis on sports medicine, using a variety of physical techniques and therapies in the rehabilitation and treatment of athletes who are suffering from injuries or illnesses, all ages will be served.
This ideal candidate for this position is team player who gets along with others, while having pride in providing high quality of physical therapy services, while at times also participating as a personal trainer and leading some areas of assessment and goal setting with the customers.
It is expected that some physical therapy will happen in the swimming pool, however training will be provided to best assure quality outcomes.
Skill & Experience
- 1. Active, unrestricted license to practice Physical Therapy within the state of Florida.
2. Possess athletic trainer certification and license.
3. Knowledge of advanced physical therapy treatment procedures for concussion treatment.
4. American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED/First Aid Certifications or equivalent as approved by Community Health Partners.
5. American Red Cross Blood Borne Pathogens Training or equivalent training approved by Community Health Partners.
6. Strong computer knowledge and skills, specifically Microsoft Office, Power point, Excel and EHR documentation.
